The Blizzard of 78 Talks Band Documentary on WBCN

wbcn_new-logo_plain_edit_outline

On the 1/26/09 broadcast of Boston Emissions at its former home on 104.1 FM WBCN, guitarist Nate Leavitt of the band The Blizzard of 78 described the experience  of making  a documentary about the  making of their new album Book of Lies. Leavitt explained to host Anngelle Wood that new media offered  the band  powerful delivery channels for promoting their music and telling the band’s story. Working with Killer Suit to produce the documentary  seemed  like a no-brainer. Leavitt thanked Glenn di Benedetto for working his editing “magic.” And while Killer Suit denies dabbling in anything  supernatural,  our editor wants to thank TBO78 for getting the opportunity to help coax the band’s musical rabbit out of their hat.

Both chapters can be seen in the video galleryHere’s a look at Chapter 1, “Leap of Faith.”
