Boston, It’s About to Get Loud
Glenn di Benedetto and Killer Suit are teaming up with Anngelle Wood (host of local favorite Boston Emissions on 100.7 WZLX) to create Louder Now Boston, a new web show intent on “turning up the volume” on Boston’s local music scene–its people, its venues and its sounds. DJ and music aficionado Anngelle Wood will host the program with Killer Suit producing. Louder Now Boston will formally debut at the Boston Music Awards on Sunday, December 5, 2010 at the Liberty Hotel in Boston and do their first public production.

The Blizzard of 78 Talks Band Documentary on WBCN
On the 1/26/09 broadcast of Boston Emissions at its former home on 104.1 FM WBCN, guitarist Nate Leavitt of the band The Blizzard of 78 described the experience of making a documentary about the making of their new album Book of Lies. Leavitt explained to host Anngelle Wood that new media offered the band powerful delivery channels for promoting their music and telling the band’s story. Working with Killer Suit to produce the documentary seemed like a no-brainer. Leavitt thanked Glenn di Benedetto for working his editing “magic.” And while Killer Suit denies dabbling in anything supernatural, our editor wants to thank TBO78 for getting the opportunity to help coax the band’s musical rabbit out of their hat.
Both chapters can be seen in the video gallery. Here’s a look at Chapter 1, “Leap of Faith.”
